The Beta Hi-Fi competition is back! WKDU (Drexel’s Radio Station) and World Cafe live bring you once again the best in emerging talent. We had the great honer of judging this yearly competition in August 2010 and we’ll be back again to judge the finals this Sunday, August 28th. The bands listed below are battling all week for the top slot each night. The winners will then fight for the prizes listed below on Sunday. Come and hang with us at World Cafe in Philly and support emerging artists!

Monday - Bill McConney, Devyn Rush, Ethan Pierce, Bernie Sweeney

Tuesday – Ryan Tennis & The Clubhouse Band, Kalob Griffin band, Viv and the Revival, The Day Life

Wednesday - Donovan Rice and The Standing Cinema, Hillbilly Shakespeare, Baffle The Cat, John the Conqueror, Philosoraptor,

Thursday – Avi Wisnia, Darry Miller & The Veil, Lamagier, Matt Gauss band, The WhiskeyHickon Boys

Friday - Satellite Hearts, Revolution, I Love You, Can You Canoe, New Sweden, killer Whale

Saturday – Rosemary Fiki Band, Jason Jeffries and the TaLL TrEEs, Bullbuckers, The Jantiques, Jazz vs The Space Tiger
