Like troubadours Woody Gutherie, Pete Seeger, and Bob Dylan, Ben Kweller is a modern day version of the balladeer, troubadour, and minstrel. His solo performances of his original works follows in the great tradition of those writers and singers who have found the intricacies of life and put them to song. He tells his stories by singing them and he pulls his melodies from his guitar and on a couple of tunes on his piano. He captures your attention and his lyrics remind you of the happy, sad and indescribable times in your own life. Go see him he’s good.
