J Roddy Walston and The Business began Day 3 of Firefly on The Backyard Stage with a high-energy performance, setting the tone for the day to come.

Reptar

Reptar at Firefly Music Festival (c) Tri State IndieReptar took over The Porch Stage, proving that they may have been the craziest dancers at the festival, with their audience a close second.

AWOLNATION

AWOLNATION then took over The Lawn Stage, encouraging as much crowd surfing as possible.

Cold War Kids

Fitz & The Tantrums

Fitz and the Tantrums at Firefly Music Festival (c) Tri State IndieFitz and the Tantrums brought The Lawn Stage down with there incredible show.  Bouncing all over the stage and getting the entire crowd to “GET LOW”!

Death Cab for Cutie

Allen Stone

Allen Stone  at Firefly Music Festival (c) Tri State IndieAllen Stone simultaneously rocked The Porch Stage, gathering an impressive crowd considering Death Cab was playing on the other side of The Woodlands. Stone, brought his high energy and soulful blues/gospel inspired tunes and got the entire crowd to put on their dancing shoes by putting on not only a show, but a dance competition that split the fans in two!

The Flaming Lips

The Flaming Lips took over The Lawn Stage with their one-of-a-kind show that, naturally, included audience members dressed as Wizard of Oz characters, wild visuals on the screen, tons of confetti, and all kinds of crazy stage props.

The Black Keys

The Black Keys at Firefly Music Festival (c) Tri State IndieThe Black Keys followed on The Firefly Stage, playing their more recent hits, as well as a few of their most memorable older tunes. The boys killed it, ending the festival perfectly with an “unplanned” encore.

Overall everything about this this festival was EPIC! Red Frog Events went BIG… no wait… went HUGE… no wait… WENT MASSIVE with the first year of this fest.  Hats off to the entire team!

Will there be a second Firefly Music Festival you ask?  ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTLY! Advance tickets ALREADY ON SALE! We here at Tri State Indie HIGHLY RECCOMEND these tickets as once the word spreads even further about this festival, tickets will be tremendously hard to get your hands on!
