Big Star's Third/Sister Lovers Played Live by All-Star Band

On March 17, 2010, Big Star mastermind Alex Chilton died at the age of 59 of a heart attack. Only months later, Andy Hummel, bassist for the legendary group, also died at the age of 59 after a two year battle with cancer. On March 26, 2011, an all-star group of musicians (including original Big Star member Jody Stephens) will commemorate the group’s groundbreaking blend of country, pop, and rock music by playing Big Star’s third album, Third/ Sister Lovers live in its entirety.
