Bloktoberfest Happening in Philadelphia this Weekend
On Saturday October 13th, The South of South Neighborhood Association, South Street West Business Association, and Bella Vista Beer Distributors will host a celebration of “beer, food, music, and Philly”. The block party will run from noon to 8pm and have many food trucks, craft beer, and two stages of live music. Here are a few artists you should not miss!
Modern Inventors-2:45 at 16th and South St: Modern Inventors are a collaboration between Josh Benus and Matt Kass, along with many other talented friends. Their debut album, Trains and Aeroplanes, comes out in December. They make excellent rock music!
Grandchildren- 5:15 at 16th and South St: Philadelphia’s premier indie-electro-pop band will be bringing some good vibes to Bloktoberfest.
Toy Soliders- 6:40 at 16th and South St: Do you like rock and roll? Let’s throw in some folk and blues influences and these genre names still can’t define the music that Toy Soldiers play. It’s good to see them back at the festival!
