This upcoming holiday weekend is full of choices whether you decide to beach it, hang backyard BBQ style, or attend one of the many music festivals trolling the country. One fest that TSI will be covering for you this weekend is the Boston Calling Music Festival, taking place at City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston, and will feature 3 days of music on 2 stages.

1467462_491930117596635_1634581003_nSome of the lineup includes: Modest Mouse, Death Cab For Cutie, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros, The Decemberists, The Head and the Heart, Frank Turner, Jenny Lewis, Tegan and Sara, Phosphorescent, War Paint, Philly’s own Kurt Vile and The Districts and many more.

This is Boston Calling’s 2nd year hosting a festival over Memorial Day Weekend, with last year’s fest featuring headliners like:  The National, Of Monsters and Men, Fun, and The Shins. This year Boston Calling will host 2 separate festival weekends with the first being this Memorial Day weekend and another in September the weekend after Labor Day on the 5th, 6th, & 7th.

The fall lineup includes: Neutral Milk Hotel, Lorde, Future Islands, Childish Gambino, The Roots, Nas, Spoon, The Replacements, and Philly’s own, The War On Drugs. So if you can’t make it to Boston this weekend, don’t worry, TSI’s lovely Beth Thorpe will be at City Hall Plaza all weekend long to bring you live social media coverage, as well as post photo recaps and reviews. So if you’re planning to hit the beach this weekend vs heading to Boston Calling, TSI has you covered.

Lots of single day and weekend pass options are already sold out. However, there are still VIP singel day and weekend passes still available so make plans now before those sell out too.
