Crobot, Only Living Boy & Those Mockingbirds at The Wonder Bar
Pop-Break.com has teamed up with the Asbury Park,NJ boardwalk and one of the shore’s most popular venues, The Wonder Bar (located on Ocean Ave in Asbury Park), to bring the ‘Shipwrecked at the Shore Music Showcase’: four nights of hard-hitting regional talent.
The showcase is kicking off this Thursday, February 2 with Harrisburg, PA’s Crobot, a group that takes their music seriously, but not their name (Crobot refers to a half “bot”, half bird, half alien.) Crobot’s dynamic rock sound is similar to The Parlor Mob, as they churn out bar-rocking ballads and feel-good riffs.
Two of Jersey’s hottest up and coming alternative rock groups, Only Living Boy and Those Mockingbirds will be tearing up the bill, as they’re both keeping rock n’ roll very, very alive.
Other showcase dates are February 16, March 8 and March 22. For a full lineup check out the event here on Facbeook. Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 9pm. $5 cover.
