You may have heard August John Lutz II’s new solo single “Foolish Heart” debut a few days ago on The Swollen Fox, but now we’ve got some eye candy to go along with it! Known by most as the frontman Philly’s “Country Sleaze” band, Levee Drivers, August John Lutz II is releasing his first solo EP O’ My Foolish Heart this Saturday, September 5 with a release party at Bourbon & Branch.

“Foolish Heart is a straight forward story about a character coming to terms with things in their life which they can
control and things in their life that will always be out of their hands. This song was written in one day and recorded the next, making the whole experience very honest and natural.” – August John Lutz II

Check out the gritty, black and white film style video below. It’s paints a perfect lyrical picture of the laid back tune, showing a lone Lutz singing form the heart, pondering life over a beer, yet still taking the time to enjoy the company of close friends.
