Summer Scouts have released a music video for the song “Facepaint” off of their debut EP The Distance. Premiering on It’s All Indie, the video features the indie-pop quintet jamming out on a cool summer night. The video was directed by Dylan Sweeney and produced in conjunction with Philadelphia based apparel company Thread Society.
Summer Scouts are an indie-pop band based out of Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Their debut EP The Distance was independently released last year and features five synth laden tunes mixed with post rock sensibilities and enchanting dual male/female vocals. The Distance was engineered by Jon Markson at The Gallery Recording Studio and mastered by Scott Craggs at Old Colony Mastering. The band is influenced by acts such as M83 and Grouplove, and has shared the stage with the likes of Body Language, Tiny Moving Parts, and Born Cages.
