Disc Jam Music Festival announced today a change of location for its 5th installment of the festival to Stephentown, NY, with the festival expanding to four days now, June 11-14, 2015.

Citing the need of a long term home for the event, Tony Scavone, owner of Disc Jam Presents said, “We simply outgrew our last venue and are very excited to be making this move which will allow us the space to grow the event for years to come. We have signed a 3-year agreement and have already begun to break ground by installing an 18-hole disc golf course sponsored by Innova Disc Golf. To be able to offer a festival location with a permanent course on site has always been our goal.”

The now 4-day event will provide options for car side, field or woods camping and will again feature two side-by-side main stages with multiple side stages offering music choices throughout the late night hours. A centralized location allows for an easy commute from all major markets in the Northeast region and the property has a long history of hosting music festivals, including Bella Terra among others in recent years. Set just over the Massachusetts border in Stephentown, NY, the property provides Disc Jam a venue in which to grow and expand as demand for the festival increases.

In addition to the venue change, Disc Jam has added another all-star headliner to its lineup, the recently reunited super group, Electron, featuring bassist Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner on keys (Disco Biscuits), Mike Greenfield on drums (Lotus) and guitarist Tom Hamilton (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead) plays fresh takes of some classic versions of The Disco Biscuits material. Details on late night additions to the lineup, silent disco, workshops, art installations and disc golf tournaments will be announced soon.
