Elephant Talk Indie Music Fest this weekend in Atlantic City

This festival really is the best keep secret to amazing undiscovered talent that you’ll find from around the country. Festival promoter Jerry Ryan wanted to bring an event to Atlantic City that really focused on original and awesome indie acts, something that AC is really not known for having. Cheesy cover bands are a dime a dozen down the Jersey shore, so Jerry’s vision was to take the 3 coolest venues downtown in Atlantic City and create a 3 day event with music that’s so good, all the performing bands and attendees stay all day and night to hear their next favorite band.
Elephant Talk is almost a networking event as much as it is a festival. TSI has meet so many great talented musicians and music lovers at this event each year. Everyone looks forward to seeing those they’ve met the year prior and meeting new indie music lovers. Once you come to Elephant Talk, if you are a true indie music fan, you come back every year because you know that you’ll have a great time, there’s not one bad band on the bill and you’ll trade your phone number or business card to dozens of musicians or diehard music fans like you.
Elephant Talk Music Fest started yesterday (Friday) at the Boneyard and the outside patio that’s part of the Boneyard, and this year, 2 stages at La Grand Fromage. This event has over 100 bands over 3 days! So if you missed yesterday, there’s plenty of time to see more today and tomorrow. There’s one ticket price and you have access to all the venues for all 4 stages. Where else can you get that kind of a bargain for $10! And another great thing about this festival, is 100% of the proceeds will go to autistic children’s access to music. The fest raised $1,400 yesterday and has a goal of $5000 for the weekend. So get out and support poeple!!!
