Keep on Trucking.

Phil Lesh and Bob Weir two of the founding  members of The Grateful Dead are keeping the music going. Phil Lesh had been playing with Phil and Friends. Bob Weir’s band ratdog are taking a break. Add Jeff Chimenti (Ratdog), Joe Russo (The Benevento/Russo Duo), John Kadlecik ( Dark Star Orchestra) Sunshine Becker born Sunshine Garcia ( acappella vocal band) and Jeff Pehrson (The Risk Fall ) make up Furthur.  Deadheads aging from their teens to their 60’s were seen in Reading Pa on Tuesday and then in Baltimore on Wednesday. This being about the midway point of their fall tour. Both nights they average 5,500 fans. I first saw The Grateful Dead in 1981 in Buffalo N.Y. and have been hooked on the sound ever since. This is one of the post Jerry Garcia sounds for me. The setlist will show how they are keeping the shows exciting and fans wanting more. -Don McGurrin
