George has performed over 4,000 shows, which include renditions of his most beloved solo piano works in the three styles he uses: melodic folk piano, New Orleans R&B piano, and stride piano. He also plays some of the late Vince Guaraldi’s Peanutssoundtrack pieces as well as performances on harmonica and Hawaiian slack key guitar, the name for the beautiful solo finger-style guitar tradition, unique to Hawaii, which began in the early 1800’s.
The piano music George is working on is about two-thirds New Orleans R&B oriented, and about one-third melodic music played in his folk piano style. He is also working on solo guitar and is recording the masters of the Hawaiian slack key guitar for an extensive series of albums for Dancing Cat Records.
