Hit The Lights, a pop punk band from Ohio who had solitifed their spot in the scene years ago, dropped their new 4th studio album Summer Bones today. After signing with Pure Noise Records in April of last year, the boys spent 2014 making the record.

The full album stream was released late last week giving the fans a chance to get a first listen. It comes following released singles such as “Fucked Up Kids” and “The Real” that the band had previously shared.

Summer Bones took me back to the Skip School Start Fight days. These songs felt like a continuation of that sophomore album – and I love it. However, I did feel like a handful of the songs were rather short, not even reaching the 3 minute mark. Regardless, as a Hit The Lights fan, I am very happy with this album. Check it out for yourself below or purchase the album here.
