J Mascis' Guitar Stolen

this week at a Dinosaur Jr. show in Eugene Oregon, J Mascis’ iconic Squier Jazzmaster was stolen during the show. The band’s Facebook page includes a picture of the guitar and the following description:
“Some characteristics that make this guitar unique: there is a dent in the neck, the pickups have no screws as they usually do and the action is currently set high. The guitar was in a soft gig bag.”
People with any information are told to email the band at band@dinosaurjr.com or call 303-998-0001. The guitar was so iconic that in 2007, fender released a J. Mascis signature guitar.
