Jammin' For The Animals IV - Reading, PA - This Weekend!

TSI is so pleased to be able to bring you coverage of Jammin’ For the Animals once again this year in Reading PA. This fest offers sooooo much to do and see. The music is always outstanding, and whether you’re looking for a Yoga or hulahoop lesson, kids painting & activities, jewelry making classes, or other festive activities- this festival has it all. It’s a very kid friendly event and of course, an animal friendly atmosphere. Bring your furry friend along to this fest and get your photo taken! All proceeds of photos go to the human society of Berks County. And the entire fest is a benefit for the Humane Society of Berks County in memory of the promoter’s brother, Bobby Jones, who loved all animals & was an avid supporter of the HSBC, as well as the Animal Rescue League.

FESTIVAL INFO
This family-friendly, camping and jam-oriented music & arts festival at the beautiful Blue Falls Grove in Reading, PA includes an exciting, quality, well-rounded collection of bands starting Friday night with Mantis, Jimkata & Quagmire Swim Team on the main stage. DJ Kosmic Kat will be filling in the gaps between sets on the side stage. One Shot Nicky will entertain us along with psychedelic projection lighting for a late-night acoustic campfire set. The music starts back up at 11:00am on Saturday with the Lakeside Drummers, John Beacher, Wallace Brothers Band, Citizens Band Radio, Bret Mosley, Klyph Black & Rumor Has It, The Greatest Funeral Ever, Freak Show Antics of Jim Stilianos & Nick Gianni’s EVOLUTION to top it off. Delta-bluesman Bret Mosley will then entertain us along with psychedelic projection lighting for a late-night acoustic campfire set. ~ The stage is a covered pavilion with plenty of nearby choice space for camping. This 4th annual multi-arts extravaganza, which benefits the Humane Society of Berks County in memory of my brother, Bobby Jones, guarantees to be a feast for the senses. Included will be plenty to do for kids & adults alike with a total feeling of brotherly/sisterly camaraderie & a complete family vibe. ~ This gorgeous rural setting is exactly what music fans look for in a jamband-like festival atmosphere…hiking, swimming, juggling & hula hooping workshops, tie-dying & pottery workshops, piercing & tattooing seminars, glassblowing, fire performances, live painting in the art village, disc golf, Chinese auction, raffles, dozens of kids activities in their own pavilion, henna & face painting, up-close magic, balloon animals, etc; all taking place while the hand-picked music continuously flows & captivates us all. ~ Late night activities will be planned both nights ~ Modern restrooms & port-a-johns available ~ Cooking with GAS GRILLS ONLY allowed on site ~ NO glass allowed! Take Route 61 N towards Leesport. Turn RIGHT onto Wiley’s Road a few hundred feet before the traffic light at Rt. 73. Follow Wiley’s Road to its end about 1.5 miles. It will intersect with Ontelaunee Drive, but continue to the right. Wiley’s Road will end & Blue Falls Grove will be straight ahead. Follow FESTIVAL signs!
DIRECTIONS FROM POTTSVILLE:
Take Route 61 South towards Leesport. Continue past the traffic light where Route 61 & Route 73 intersect. Turn LEFT a few hundred feet further down Rt. 61 onto Wiley’s Road. Follow Wiley’s Road to its end. Blue Falls Grove will be straight ahead about 1.5 miles. Wiley’s will intersect with Ontelaunee Drive, but continue to the slight right. Wiley’s Road will end & Blue Falls Grove will be straight ahead. Follow FESTIVAL signs!
DIRECTIONS FROM LANCASTER:
Take Route 30 East. Then take Route 222 North towards Reading/Allentown. Follow Route 222 North around Reading to Route 61. Take Route 61 North towards Pottsville. Follow Route 61 North for a few miles to Leesport. Turn RIGHT onto Wiley’s Road a few hundred feet before the traffic light at Rt. 73. Follow Wiley’s Road to its end. During this festival, a Chinese auction will take place throughout the day in which 100% of the proceeds received will directly benefit the Humane Society of Berks County. Items from numerous businesses throughout the Berks County area will be displayed & available to win during the auction. The total amount raised during this auction plus admission to the festival proceeds will be a very needed boost to help our furry little friends.
