Work Drugs new album Insurgents  induces you into a sedative, smooth fi wave trance.

Insurgents definitely lives up to its name as a revolutionary album for the electronic pop world. Lead by Thomas Crystal and Benjamin Louisiana, this band describes themselves as “music specifically for boating, sexting, dancing, yachting, and living.” Work Drugs has close to 10,000 followers on SoundCloud and has played with well known bands such as Two Door Cinema ClubPeter Bjorn & JohnMaps & Atlases, and Memoryhouse. Work Drugs’ song “Red Racer” was featured in Urban Outfitters “Favorite Fall Jeans in 2011”. For only starting in 2011, Work Drugs have been has been reaching more and more fans each year.




Work Drugs’ seventh album, Insurgents, takes you an 80’s inspired synth-pop journey with songs like “Heaven or Farewell” and “Digital Girl”.

The characters of Work Drugs tease this video’s bio by saying “We have unearthed a rare treat from 1985 when Work Drugs originally started off as the house band for CLUB MTV (1985-1989)”. Honestly, by the dance moves, it looks like it could be true.
