Man Man: New Album and Song
Philadelphia’s Man Man are getting ready to release their latest album Life Fantastic on May 10th via Anti Records. Luckily the band has released the opening track, “Knuckle Down.” The new track opens up with a lonesome, dirty organ/synth sound then after a few seconds the drums kick in and the song takes off. Midway through the song Honus Honus belts out “throwing conscious to the wind,” which definitely does a better job then I could do of describing the atmosphere of the song. This is the first time that Man Man has worked with a “proper” producer which happens to be Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes
