The 90’s alt-rock revival seems to be the new craze these days and it won’t be long till Florida alt-rockers Flashlights are the ring-leaders of the movement. Originally starting out as a solo project of vocalist/guitarist Terry Cauldill in 2007, Flashlights line up quickly grew with people from the local punk scene. It didn’t take long for the official line up to be complete, with Tony Oriza(guitar), Will Powell(bass), and Melissa Hopkins(drums). In 2011 they released their first full length entitled I’m Not Alone and the album’s single “Don’t Take Me Seriously” created great buzz with its quirky music video.

Flashlights is now releasing a new single called “Failures” which is set for release late spring. The title of the song speaks for itself. Frontman Terry Caudill said “‘Failure’ is a song off our new record Bummer Summer….This track is about when your expectations fail you and it makes you sad, The ending is epic!”
