More Than Skies, the singer-songwriter project of Long Island native Adam James Tomlinson, is out now.
The angsty folk-rock stylings of More Than Skies are showcased on a 24-track project, released on March 24thMore Than Skies is available to stream You can pre-order More Than Skies here: http://morethanskies.bandcamp.com
Dating back to 2006, Adam James has plied his trade across a number of projects, both solo releases (2011’s EP, “The Liar, The Puppet, The Fox” and 2012’s full-length I Am Only Above The Ground) and full-band as a part of Sleep Bellum Sonno and The Vigilance Committee.
A heartfelt expression of folk-rock, presenting a blend of thoughtful and contemplative with hopeful and melodic, More Than Skies has an intangible knack of drawing upon the listener’s every emotion. With the latest release, James presents a set of work that will appeal to a cross-section of music fans from punk and alternative to indie and folk.
With each live performance comes a new focus from James and a unique encounter for the fan; in much a similar vein every spin of the self-titled record offers the listener a new experience, the only constant being the undeniable passion and honesty with which each track is delivered.
Despite being a solo project, More Than Skies is far from the the works of one man alone, with production expertise from Sainthood Reps’ Bradley Cordaro and mastering from Dan Coutant providing a musical insight across the extended release.
More Than Skies sees Tomlinson make his triumphant return on March 24th, 2015, with an intricate and enchanting Double LP.
