This week we’ve got some great R&B albums from Pharrall and Ashanti, some country from Eli Young Band and David Nail, along with a bunch of rock albums to treat your ears to!

PICK OF THE WEEK

Real Estate are a local New Jersey indie band with a very laid-back, relaxing vibe in their music. They step out of the expected sound of the genre and made a path for themselves. Atlas marks their third album release since becoming a band nearly 6 years ago.

NOT-SO-INDIE PICK OF THE WEEK

I am not a Glee fan but there’s no denying Lea Michele’s voice. With her long history on broadway, her voice has a different sound than other pop stars today. I’m interested to see if her pop career will take off and if the world will accept her “broadway voice” on their radios.
