Northside Festival 2012 Takes Over Brooklyn

Heading into Brooklyn for Northside last Friday (June 15) I knew I was in for a long journey of NY madness as my photographer and I planned to overlap and also attend the New Music Seminars in NYC for 2 days after Northside. Five days and nights filled with 13-14 hours + of music and more, I knew my 30 something self was in for a challenge – but we were up for it and ready to become festival warriors once we parked the TSI mobile near the L Stop outside of where we were staying during our journey.
Ahh Northside is such a blast, but man, fests like these can be a whirl wind. So much to hear, do, see, drink, eat, and people to meet; it’s a lot to take in. Your agenda is always so full and at the end of the day, due to time, travel and even catching some great bands unexpectedly – you never fit it all in. But after all is said and done, the stellar highlights of Northside remain and that’s what I give you here.
