Philadelphia Weekly Announces 22nd Annual Concerts in the Park
Philadelphia Weekly (PW)’s decades-long dedication to Philadelphia music, arts & entertainment continues with its 22nd annual FREE outdoor summer concert series, Concerts in the Park, presented by FUZE® Beverages. PW returns to Rittenhouse Square for a diverse three-week lineup of midweek concerts at 18th & Walnut streets, kicking off on Wed., Aug. 15, and continuing each Wednesday evening through Aug. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.
This year’s lineup includes:
August 15: Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band with special guest TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb
August 22: Ground Up featuring The Lawsuits
August 29: Strapping Fieldhands and The Spinning Leaves
Sponsors include FUZE® Beverages (https://www.facebook.com/FuzeBeverage) as presenting sponsor, as well as Susquehanna Bank, Zipcar, Rex-Goliath Wines, WXPN, Independence Seaport Museum, City of Hope, Point Entertainment and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation.

PW’s Concerts in the Park presented, by FUZE® Beverages, is one of the only free Philadelphia music events in the region offering live music from a wide assortment of acclaimed local and national bands. Past years have seen crowds of approximately 4,000 music lovers turn out for each performance.
