Acting as a central network for indie music, Tri State Indie (TSI) provides independent music aficionados with a daily fix of: music news; upcoming show announcements; live concert and festival coverage; an active social media community; and many other opportunities to consume independent music related material. Supported by an experienced, professional and musically savvy team of contributors, TSI’s greatest depth of coverage lies in the Mid Atlantic Region. In addition, we have contributors throughout the country and do travel nationwide to cover larger festivals . Unique in our personalized coverage and grassroots approach, we provide readers with a window to the independentmusic world they love and adore. Our primary connection to readers and the larger independent music community is our Tri State Live series. Set up on location at festivals, the TSI media area serves many purposes: a home base for our contributors photographing and video-taping the festival; a live-blogging station for our bloggers; a stage for us to conduct live interviews with festival musicians; and a place to share more informationabout TSI and our sponsors. This series has made TSI the only online music magazine fostering a virtual community and at the same time connecting personally its readership and musicians in the field.
