Radiohead Plays New Song: 'Staircase'
On July 1st, Radiohead will release of a live video of the band playing their new album, The King of Limbs, in full for producer Nigel Godrich’s video series From A Basement. To build a little hype for this online event, the band has released a clip featuring a performance of an unreleased song, “Staircase.” Like much of the music on The King of Limbs, “Staircase,” is percussion heavy, and contains the kind of eerily beautiful melody that Thom Yorke is known so well for.
