Last Friday, Tri State Indie’s event/promo division Tee Ess Eye Productions threw a celebration of the life and music of The Thin White Duke, David Bowie at Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia. Local Philly musicians, fans of all ages and industry veterans all came out to make this sold-out event a memorable night for all. Live renditions of Bowie tunes, personal stories from both fans and industry pros were presented on stage – all to raise money for cancer research for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Plus, a attendees received a special treat with the premiere of the Bowie segment from “Sigma Sound & Sound of Philly” documentary, as it was screened midway though the night!

Special shout out to WXPN for it’s support and to WXPN’s Robert Drake for his assistance in promoting and amazing presence onstage while hosting the show.  Below is a recap, in photos by Tim Becker. Enjoy.
