The Wellspring opened for Pete Yorn at the Trocedero on Thursday, March 10, and their smooth harmonies combined with their poetic lyrics were perfect to start the night’s music. Their voices are fresh, their melodies intrigue, their harmonies are made for listening and the poetry of their lyrics could stand on their own. They’ve been called a “mixture of The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, indie rock, and a touch of country” and they are truly all of those. Talia and Dov make a great team, alternately moving from guitar to piano, their voices strong. A great duo in all ways.
