NUMBERS
This is the third official release by The Lawsuits, following 2011′s “Darleen” and Spring of 2012′s “Hot Love.” This EP is the precursor to their upcoming full-length (due Spring 2013) currently being recorded with Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Man Man) in the Producer’s seat. While Numbers is mainly acoustic driven, next year’s full-length will be a full band sound with major anthemic songs that will be impossible to not sing along with.
On Numbers, the band utilized an array of sounds, ranging from acoustic guitars, synthesizers, clarinets, tambourines, cardboard boxes, and hound dog impersonations (seriously) – all mixed in in such a way that it takes the listener on beautifully vivid 16 minute journey.
Numbers was created totally in-house. It was Produced/Recorded in New Hope, PA by the band’s leader Brian Dale Allen Strouse. Then, all those crazy sounds listed above were mixed and mastered by drummer Josh Friedman.
Vocalist Vanessa Winters, guitarist Noah Skaroff and bassist Brendan Cunningham also appear on the EP.
