For all you twenty one pilots fans out there, you know how long we’ve been waiting for this. Since the duos “debut” album Vessel  in 2013 with Fueled By Ramen, our ears have been yearning for new music. Last night, I was pleasantly caught off guard when the band posted on their socials a new unheard song accompanied by a music video. “Fairly Local” has gotten over 200,000 YouTube views in just half of a day. Currently, the single sits at the #6 spot on the U.S. Top Songs chart on ITunes. Tyler Joseph, who is known as a brilliant lyricist and composer, has proven that not only are they back better than ever, but they won’t be letting Blurryface fall victim to the legend of the cursed sophomore album.

Those who don’t know – twenty one pilots are two dudes from Columbus, Ohio who built themselves on just the support of local fans. It’s no shock that the first single the boys release is a dedicated story to the clique (what twenty one pilots’ fans call themselves.) Joseph tweeted last night, “definitely referenced the clique in that one.” Their sophomore album, Blurryface, will be available on May 19th with promises of more released songs and videos beforehand.

Then this morning, the clique was awoken with another surprise announcement, we got tour dates. Joseph, along with drummer & partner in crime, Josh Dun, will be hitting the road this fall with Echosmith going coast to coast.
