Wilco Announce New Album 'The Whole Love', Tour

It’s been two years since Chicago indie-rock titans Wilco have release new material. This year, after the completion of their second annual Solid Sound Festival, the release of new single “I Might,” and the formation of their very own dBpm Records, Wilco will finish out a whirlwind summer by releasing their eighth full-length LP, The Whole Love. As Tweedy stated in a recent interview, the album title is in reference to a saying that detectives use when referring to confessions, i.e. “This guy is pretty close to giving us “the whole love.” Unfortunately, the album is not a double LP as recent statements from the band hinted at, but fortunately the 14 plus minute “One Sunday Morning (Song for Jane Smiley’s Boyfriend,” made the cut.
