The post-Jeff Austin era for the Colorado progressive bluegrass band, Yonder Mountain String Band has begun, as they parted ways with frontman, and mondolinist Jeff Austin earlier this year. The string band will hit the road with newly added fiddler Allie Kral, and mandolinist Jake Jolliff, who have been playing with the band reguarly this year since Austin left the band.

The tour kicks off tonight in Philly at the Theatre of the Living Arts, and then the band heads to the Brooklyn Bowl for a night before heading down to Mexico for Strings and Sol in Puerto Morelos Mexico. The band will open up the new year with a four night run at the Boulder Theatre and then makes its way across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast, before wrapping up the tour with a performance at Freebird live in Jacksonville Florida. Full ticketing info available here.
