Rich McKie

Technical Producer

Rich is a tech-savvy, egg benedict-devouring, double-dog-dad, Digital Producer, Philly to LA transplant who once rolled off the front of a 6-foot stage (literally) to get that perfect shot because, in the end, it’s all about the angle, right?

As the Co-founder of Tri State Indie and the former Director of Digital Content for WXPN (NPR Music) in Philadelphia, Rich has wielded his camera like Excalibur, capturing the essence of music and performance from indie gems to modern legends like Brandi Carlile and Hozier. His life’s work is to snatch those fleeting moments of magic and pin them down in pixels and frames, creating memories that resonate, entertain, and inspire.

From managing teams of skilled photographers and videographers, to producing in-studio events, it’s been a whirlwind of shutters, laughs, and unforgettable melodies.

In short, McKie’s not just the guy who’ll go to dramatic lengths for the perfect shot. His art is his voice, his trade is his adventure, and his life is a testament to the joy of capturing the heartbeat of the moment. Join him on this quirky, engaging, and humorous ride – it’s going to be picture perfect.
